Dan Bryant

Dan is a logistician who has managed large, multi-region operations both in the military and commercial worlds. Working across multiple sectors and challenging locations, he has won and delivered complex public and private sector support solutions. With deep experience of developing commercial solutions to support UK MOD, US DOD, ADF, DND, the UN and NATO requirements, he specialises in maritime logistics, international aid logistics and soft FM solutions for companies in the maritime, logistics and transportation, energy and construction sectors. Dan is a Shipley trained, APMP accredited work winning professional who has a strong track record of developing strategic partnerships to deliver complex contracts.

Paul Robinson

Paul is an accomplished and experienced senior leader with an extensive background in the maritime and defence domains. A former senior Royal Navy Officer, his more recent experience embraces roles as Bid Director, Account Director and Marine Services Director in a major service company; BD and general business support to a maritime training company; and commercial maritime consultancy input to a diverse range of projects with the DfT, MoD and private sector. Operationally focused, he calls on strong, well-founded commercial acumen, P&L credentials and an analytical yet pragmatic approach; he also has a track record of cost reduction and identifying innovative options. Paul is an Associate Consultant to the IWH Group and is our Subject Matter Expert in ports and maritime operations, as well as a source of sage advice on Board level issues and Customer Relationship Management.

Jon Westbrook CBE

Jon is a versatile and experienced senior executive who advises widely across industry and defence. A former 2* Royal Navy Officer, he has achieved consistent success in areas requiring strategic planning, the development and implementation of complex governance regimes, the delivery of major change programmes and the application of performance and risk management. With an extensive military command and representational background, including periods of intense media and international scrutiny, he is experienced in media relations and familiar with working across government departments and organisations both in the UK and overseas. He has also been heavily involved in developing the governance, regulations and behavioural guidance for the maritime autonomy industry.

Ian Millen

Ian is a security, risk and intelligence practitioner who has delivered operational and commercial success in the defence, law enforcement and maritime sectors. A former Royal Navy Officer, SOCA Programme Director and COO of an award-winning maritime intelligence company, he helps clients join the dots, improve performance and develop new business through effective strategies and plans, based on the optimal management and exploitation of information, intelligence and supporting technologies. The chairman of the Solent LEP’s Marine & Maritime Steering Group, President of a maritime sector not for profit and trustee of a maritime related charity, Ian is a hands-on problem solver who is at ease in the Boardroom and credible on the front line.

Simon Grantham

Simon is a counter terrorism and security professional able to add value strategically, tactically or operationally from his sound understanding of the contribution of government, police, academia, military, commerce and the intelligence community. Acutely aware of the challenges in securing critical national infrastructure, his experience spans a range of disciplines including protective security, intelligence investigations, command and control and harmonising the inter-dependencies of entities involved in mitigating the terrorist threat. He has a proven track record in Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East underpinned with 30 years of UK policing and extensive academic work. A specialist in multi-disciplinary testing and exercising, he has developed numerous counter terrorism exercises to test crisis management arrangements in governments, commercial organisations, security and intelligence agencies, niche military capabilities and police forces.

Andrew Spinks

Andy is a senior executive with military and commercial experience, and a particular specialist in aviation ground operations, fuels and government support services. A former 1* RAF Officer, he is all-round leader and manager with gravitas, taking a determined yet inclusive approach to deliver solutions in the most demanding of conditions. His most recent military assignment included a secondary role as a Non-Executive Director of the Oil and Pipelines Agency, where safety was a prime consideration. Since leaving the RAF, he has enjoyed 11 years in commercial companies which have required increased revenue and reduced costs, all while delivering against demanding operational targets. He is trained and experienced in working with the media, and his collegiate and customer-focussed approach, fully understanding the importance of the team and all stakeholders, has delivered significant successes.

Andrew Dutton

Andrew is an accomplished senior manager, proven in supply chain management, key account management, project and programme delivery, maritime operations, strategic planning, quality management and operational improvement. A former Royal Navy Officer with broad experience across the commercial maritime sector too, he has marshalled new and innovative products into service and managed projects ranging from manufacturing processes to deployed maritime security services. Unafraid to roll his sleeves up and immerse himself into the workings of a company, his perspective and breadth of experience gives him credibility both operationally and at Board level.
